ABOUT WAKF BOARD:

Punjab Wakf Board is a statutory body constituted by the Department of Home, Government of Punjab under the Wakf Act 1995 (Central Act 43 of 1995) several Masjids, Kabristans , Dargahs etc. are registered with this Board in addition to the wakf properties in India. Wakf board hiring LLB for legal job.

The main functions of the Punjab Wakf Board are: (1) General Superintendence of all Wakfs institutions and their properties in the State, (2) to exercise powers under the Wakf Act,So as to assure that the Wakfs Board under its superintendence are properly maintained, controlled and administered and the income thereof is duly applied to the objects for which such Wakfs are created or intended. Recently Punjab Wakf Board has successfully completed two big projects and we are proud for this project. The two big projects are: –

  1. Establishment of Hzt. Halima Hospital at Malerkotla.
  2. Establishment of Islamia Girls College at Malerkotla.

ABOUT JOB:

On 04/02/2019, Punjab Wakf Board announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed LLB, Any Graduate for the position of Legal Support Officer, Legal Support Assistant Multiple Vacancy in the Wakf Board.

IMPORTANT DATE:

Opening of application 04/02/2019.

Last date for application till 5 pm of 20.02.2019.

QUALIFICATION:

The Candidate should be possess Law Degree (LLB) from any recognized university And an Advocate having minimum 5 years’ experience.
